Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Midpoint through our website at midpoint.tlsgh.com or our Android application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create a Midpoint account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
• Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Midpoint account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Google Sign-In

If you register using Google Sign-In, you grant Midpoint access to basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) associated with your Google account. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Midpoint only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform.

You Must Not

• Post, upload, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect content without prior written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its servers, or related systems
• Transmit spam, chain letters, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security or access-control features

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

Content & Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of any original content you submit to Midpoint. By submitting content, you grant Midpoint a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content in connection with the platform.

Midpoint Content

All content produced or owned by Midpoint — including AI-generated articles, show scripts, video content, podcasts, platform design, and software — is the exclusive property of Midpoint or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us may be used by Midpoint without any obligation to you.

Writer Submissions

Midpoint welcomes original editorial contributions from approved Writers. By submitting content you confirm that:

• The content is your original work and does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other rights
• You have obtained all necessary permissions for any third-party material included
• The content is factually accurate to the best of your knowledge
• The content does not contain defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful material

Editorial Review

All Writer submissions are subject to review and approval by our editorial team. Midpoint reserves the right to refuse, edit, or remove any submission at its sole discretion.

Subscriptions & Payments

Midpoint offers optional subscription plans that unlock premium content and features. All payments are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider.

• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time with reasonable notice
• Your subscription continues until cancelled; you may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Midpoint uses artificial intelligence to generate news articles, show scripts, sports predictions, and other editorial content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information
• AI-generated sports predictions are for entertainment and informational purposes only and are not financial or betting advice
• Midpoint does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content
• You use AI-generated content at your own risk

Community Standards

Midpoint’s community features are spaces for respectful discussion. You agree to:

• Treat other community members with respect and civility
• Not post hate speech, harassment, or content targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• Not share misinformation or deliberately misleading content
• Not post graphic violence, explicit sexual content, or material that glorifies self-harm
• Use the reporting tools to flag content that violates these standards

Shows, Podcasts & Media

When you access Midpoint’s original video shows, podcasts, and short-form media:

• You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to stream and view content on the platform
• You may not download, record, copy, or redistribute any video, audio, or media content without express written permission
• Show availability may vary and Midpoint reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove any show at any time

Third-Party Services

Midpoint integrates with third-party services including Google, Firebase, Paystack, and AI providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services accessed through Midpoint is governed by those services’ own terms and conditions.

Termination

By You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in your settings. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

By Midpoint

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Midpoint is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform
• Sports predictions and AI-generated odds carry no guarantee of accuracy

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Midpoint and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to Midpoint in the 12 months preceding the claim.
